REAL ESTATE FROM MORE THAN ONE SIDE OF THE TABLE
My perspective on real estate was shaped long before I became a Realtor.
I spent 15 years in the lending industry, where I learned to look beyond the purchase price and understand the financial decisions surrounding real estate ownership. That experience gave me a foundation in financing, risk, affordability and the long-term implications of decisions that can initially seem relatively small.
I've also spent years investing in real estate myself. At one point, I personally own nine properties simultaneously and have purchased and renovated condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes.
That experience matters to the way I advise clients today.
I've dealt with renovations, carrying costs, maintenance, property management, changing markets and the decisions that eventually determine whether a property was a good investment—or simply looked like one when it was purchased.
Today, as a Realtor and advisor, I bring those experiences together for my clients.
I don't look at a property solely through the lens of whether you can buy it or whether it's a beautiful home. I want to understand what it will be like to own it.
What will it cost to maintain?
What risks aren't immediately obvious?
How does the community affect your lifestyle?
What compromises are you making?
How might your needs change?
And if you decide to sell five or ten years from now?
How attractive will that property be to the next buyer?
That's one of the reasons I developed the No Regret Relocation Method.
Those questions matter even more when a real estate decision is part of a larger life transition—relocating, approaching retirement, right-sizing or purchasing a second home.
My job is to help you make a real estate decision you'll still feel good about years from now.

One of my closest friends and I have known each other since we were five years old.
Years ago, I helped him purchase his home here in Palm Beach. Since then, he has built a successful business, transformed the property and created significant equity in the process.
Today, our conversations about that home are very different.
He’s thinking about retirement, selling the property, buying something smaller locally and creating a place where he and his family can spend part of the year away.
The house that was once simply where he wanted to live has become an important part of what the next chapter of his life may look like.
And despite knowing me most of his life, he still turns to me for candid guidance about what he should—and shouldn’t—do.
I don’t take that trust lightly.
To me, that’s what this business is really about.

WHY EB STONE?
The name Eb Stone comes from Ebenezer, meaning “stone of help.”
For me, it has become a reminder of something I’ve come to appreciate more with time: none of us gets where we are entirely on our own.
I’ve worked hard for what I have, but I’ve also had people who believed in me, opportunities I didn’t create entirely by myself, lessons that came at the right time, and more to be grateful for than I probably recognized when I was younger.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become much more intentional about appreciating those things—and about what I do with the time and opportunities I still have.
Eb Stone represents my responsibility to be a source of help to someone else.
In real estate, that means more than helping someone buy or sell a home.
It means listening closely, understanding what really matters to them, asking questions they may not have considered, and helping them make decisions they’ll be comfortable living with long after the transaction is over.
That’s what Eb Stone means to me:
